About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our Coffey Testing Darwin Laboratory team who are vital in ensuring the quality and safety of the construction materials used in some of Australia’s largest rail, mining and infrastructure projects. We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate some or all of the following criteria:
- Has sound experience in field and laboratory construction materials testing to Australia standards or is looking to start a career in construction materials testing;
- Holds a current NDM radiation license (desirable) and is competent in its operation;
- Knowledge of NATA ISO/IEC 17025 requirements;
- Has the ability to work autonomously and displays a level of self-motivation;
- Demonstrates an unwavering commitment to quality assurance and workplace safety;
- Can work effectively under pressure, prioritising work to meet client demands; and
- Is physically fit and able to perform a manual labour-intensive role which includes heavy lifting.
All successful applicants will undergo a medical assessment including drug & alcohol screen as part of our recruitment process.
